A great cortijo with wonderful views and a large garden. Perfect for a relaxing holiday enjoying the pool and the barbecue. The house is set in "el campo" between the Lecrin Valley villages of Dúrcal and Nigüelas near the city of Granada.

The house is in a fantastic location - you can be on the ski slopes of Sierra Nevada in 45 minutes. Granada and the Alhambra Palace are 20 minutes by car. The beaches of the Costa Tropical are 30 minutes drive whilst the Alpujarras are 15 minutes away. Granada airport is 25 minutes drive and Malaga and Almeria airports are roughly 90 minutes away.
The cortijo is all on one level apart from a mezzanine that makes up part of the sleeping quarters. It sleeps 4/6 people.
The ground floor has one double bedroom, a shower room and an open plan living area with an open fire for the winter months.
The mezzanine level has two twin bedrooms and a sun terrace with fantastic views of the valley and the Sierra Nevada beyond.
It has a great garden with a good sized pool and is perfect for taking in the vistas! There is also a barbecue and garden furniture for dining al fresco.

Los Magnolios is an alternative energy house and the use of some appliances such as hair driers is restricted. Bed linen and bath towels are provided. Pets welcome. Cost of logs is extra. Booking deposit 50% by bank transfer. Balance to be paid on arrival.
Things to see:
Nigüelas has excellent road links and all the local attractions can easily be reached by car. It is a lively, friendly village with numerous bars, restaurants and shops. There are also many marked tracks for walking in the mountains, or guided walks can be arranged. In winter it is very popular with walkers and skiers as it is very beautiful with the snow on the Sierra Nevada mountains. In September the village holds it´s annual fiesta and for a week it is alive with events.
