The nearby towns of Pinoso, Elda, Sax and Yecla have plenty of shops, bars and restaurants where you can sample the local delicacies and of course there is a multitude of wine producing bodegas in the area where you can taste a selection of fine wines. Pinoso has a sports centre with indoor and outdoor pools, football pitches and tennis courts. There is also a theatre and medical centre in town plus lots of restaurants and bars. Car hire is essential to take full advantage of the area

Yecla, Elda and Sax are all sizeable towns with lots of shops and bars and the coast and beaches are only a 50 minute drive away. Markets are held on most days in the surrounding villages where you can buy fruit and vegetables, clothes shoes etc. Fortuna Spa baths are also within a 25 minute drive
